Guests Departing from Mumbai (Scheduled Group Departure)
Guests who have opted for the Mumbai to Mumbai tour will meet at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, four hours before the scheduled flight departure time.
From here, you fly together with Shree Swaminarayan Tourism tour manager to Kathmandu and begin your beautiful journey. Upon arrival, the Shree Swaminarayan Tourism Tour Manager will assist you with all airport formalities and ensure a smooth transition to the hotel or sightseeing place as per the itinerary.
Guests Joining from Other Indian Cities
If you are flying from cities like New Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru or others, please ensure that you have received your complete travel details like airline, flight departure and arrival time, airport name, passport with valid visa etc. from your Shree Swaminarayan Tourism Travel Advisor. You will fly to the first destination of the tour as per your individual flight details. Upon arrival your tour manager will meet you at Kathmandu airport or at the sightseeing place conveyed to you in advance.
Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests – From India or Anywhere in the World
If you are joining the tour from any part of India or overseas by making your own arrangements, please ensure that you have received complete guidance for smooth arrival, hotel check-in or joining at sightseeing place, from your Shree Swaminarayan Tourism Tour Manager as well as travel adviser. Tour Manager will meet you directly at the first destination as per the tour plan conveyed to you.
Today we fly to Pokhara – a beautiful city nestled at the foothills of Annapurna Himalayan Ranges. Upon arrival, we enjoy a pleasant boat ride in Phewa Lake – reflecting the panoramic views of Mt. Fishtail. Followed by a visit to Barahi Temple – located on an island in Phewa Lake.
Today we proceed to Jomsom – a town that lies in the trans-Himalayan region of Annapurna and sits at the base of Mt.Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri by Jeep.
Upon arrival we proceed to Muktinath and visit Muktinath Temple – one of the most ancient temples of the God Vishnu and the Vaishnava tradition in Nepal.
Here one can take a holy bath at 108 Taps. Then we proceed back to Jomsom and check into hotel.
Today we proceed to Marpha Valley by Jeep. We visit Marpha Village – one of the rare places where heritage and modernity coexist beautifully. Two words “mar” meaning hard-working, and “pha” meaning people. We take a walk through this beautiful village. The clean stoned walking street of this village clearly shows typical ness of the local Takali cultures. Followed by a visit to Local Brandy Distillery – where we can learn the process of Apple brandy making.
Then we set out for a serene excursion to Dhumba Lake – a high-altitude, glacial lake located in the Thini village of the Mustang district. At the lake, we’ll take some quiet moments to reflect, meditate or simply enjoy the magical surroundings. Don’t forget your cameras—this is a postcard-perfect location!
Today we proceed to Pokhara. Upon arrival we have free time for shopping.
We begin our day early with a magical experience at Sarangkot Sunrise Point, where the golden rays of dawn paint the Himalayan peaks in breathtaking hues—an unforgettable moment!
Then we explore the charming city of Pokhara. We visit the roaring Devi’s Fall and the mystical Gupteshwar Caves, tucked beneath the falls. We then seek blessings at the sacred Vindyabasini Temple, followed by a visit to the majestic Shiva Statue at Pumdikot, offering panoramic views of Pokhara Valley.
Later, we dive into Nepal’s mountaineering legacy at the International Mountaineering Museum, exploring its three fascinating halls—the Hall of Great Himalayas, the Hall of Fame, and the Hall of World Mountains—each filled with inspiring tales of adventure and courage.
Today we bid farewell to the tranquil lakeside city of Pokhara and drive to Bhairahawa—the gateway to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. As we descend from the hills into the lush Terai plains, enjoy changing landscapes—from misty mountains to golden rice fields and charming roadside villages.
In the evening, we arrive in Bhairahawa and check in to our hotel.
Today we explore Lumbini – the revered birthplace of Lord Buddha and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We begin our exploration at the Maya Devi Temple, which marks the exact spot where Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautam over 2,600 years ago. Walk along the Sacred Garden, where the Ashoka Pillar, ancient ruins, and the pond where the queen is said to have bathed stand.
Then we explore the Monastic Zone, a beautifully landscaped area dotted with majestic monasteries built by Buddhist communities from different countries like Thailand, Japan, Sri Lanka, and Germany—each reflecting its unique architectural style and spiritual philosophy.
We also visit the Lumbini Museum, which showcases relics and artefacts tracing the history of Buddhism and the development of Lumbini as a global pilgrimage site.
Today we proceed to Chitwan National Park – Nepal’s lush wildlife haven. En route, we visit Devghat—the sacred confluence of the Kali Gandaki and Trishuli Rivers, a revered pilgrimage site rich in mythology and peace.
Upon arrival in Chitwan, we check in and enjoy a delightful village tour, offering a glimpse into the simple lifestyle of the local Tharu community. In the evening, we enjoy a vibrant Tharu Cultural Dance performance, showcasing traditional music and tribal heritage.
Today we dive into the wild wonders of Chitwan National Park! We begin with a serene Canoe ride on the Budhi Rapti River, offering chances to spot crocodiles basking by the banks, followed by visit to the Elephant Breeding Centre to meet these gentle giants up close.
Then we gear up for a thrilling Elephant safari, where we may spot the rare one-horned rhinoceros, deer, wild boars, and more in their natural habitat.
Today we proceed to Kathmandu – Nepal’s soulful capital and a buzzing city of temples, stupas, and ancient stories.
Enroute, we visit Manakamana Temple, dedicated to the wish-fulfilling goddess Bhagwati. We ascend to the temple via an exhilarating cable car ride, gliding over lush hills and deep river gorges—a thrilling and scenic experience. After seeking blessings and soaking in the peaceful vibes, we descend and continue our journey through the winding mountain roads of Nepal.
Today we explore Kathmandu city, we visit Pashupatinath Temple – one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and the only one to be located outside India, followed by a visit to the monuments of Kathmandu like, Budhanilkantha also known as “Sleeping Vishnu.
Further we visit Kathmandu Darbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa – one of the glorious stupas in the world whose establishment is linked to the creation of Kathmandu valley.
Then we have free time for exploring the city on own.
Today we visit sacred Doleshwor Mahadev Temple—believed to be the head of Lord Kedarnath and an important pilgrimage spot for devotees.
Then we visit, Narayanhiti Palace Museum – a palace in Kathmandu which long served as the residence and principal workplace of the reigning Monarch of the Kingdom of Nepal, turned in museum in 2009, that houses a collection of artefacts and furniture which depicts lifestyle of Royal Family.
Followed by visit to Garden of Dream – also known as the Garden of Six Seasons is a neo-classical garden in Kaiser Mahal Kathmandu. The Garden has Three Pavilions, an Amphitheatre, Ponds, Pergolas, and Urns.
Later we have free time for shopping.
Today we proceed to Nagarkot – a serene hill station famed for its panoramic views of the Himalayan range, including the majestic Mt. Everest on a clear day.
Enroute, we explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, an open museum of ancient palaces, pagodas, courtyards, and local artisans. Witness the timeless charm of traditional Newari architecture and indulge in the flavour of the local culture.
Upon arrival, we we head to the Nagarkot View Tower for spotting best vistas of dreamy mountains. (subject to weather conditions).

Guests traveling on the scheduled group flight will proceed to the airport as per the group’s departure time.
Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests:
J&L guests will proceed to the airport after the scheduled group tour concludes.
If your flight timing and airport match the group’s, you may join the group airport transfer. Otherwise, the cost of reaching the airport, cruise terminal, railway station, or bus terminal will be borne by the guest.

Please note :
i) The vehicle will not be on disposal and will be provided as per the program only.
ii) Drivers in Nepal are not educated. They speak/understand a very basic Hindi and English. They cannot do the job of a guide and will have to stay in the parking area along with the vehicle. The clients will have to buy the entrance fee on their own during the sightseeing.
iii) Rates valid for Indian Passport holders only. OCI and PIO card is not valid in Nepal and cannot be used as an identification.
iv) Hotel : Standard Check in Time : 2 PM and Standard Check Out time : 11 AM
v) Room Category : Base category which are called the Standard rooms or Deluxe rooms depending from hotel to hotel
vi) A Passport or a voter’s id is the only valid document to travel to Nepal by air. Clients will not be allowed to travel by air using an Aadhar card or a driving license. For children under 18 years, a school identification with a photograph in it is a valid document. Different airlines has different policies of child. Request that this be checked with airlines locally too.
vii) Inr. 200, 500 and 2000 notes are illegal and not acceptable in Nepal. Clients should carry Inr. 100 and below notes only. The maximum limit amount that a person can carry is Inr. 25000 which should be in denomination of Inr. 100 or below.
viii) Double Dose Vaccination certificate required
Suggestion :
We would recommend that you fly back to Kathmandu instead of driving as this will save 8-9 hours of a long road journey. The flight is 30 mins only and is more convenient. The additional cost while doing so will be Inr. 3500-4000 PP depending on the available airfares.
