After breakfast, you’ll begin your journey from Auckland to Rotorua, a scenic drive that takes approximately 3 hours. You’ll have the chance to explore the caves, taking in the otherworldly glow of the glowworms as you navigate the subterranean passages. After visiting the caves, continue your drive towards Rotorua, enjoying the beautiful landscapes along the way. Once you arrive in Rotorua, check in at your hotel and take some time to rest after the long drive. In the evening, you’ll have free time to explore Rotorua at your leisure. Today begins early as you set out on a spectacular self-drive journey from Queenstown to Milford Sound, one of New Zealand’s most iconic natural wonders. The drive takes approximately 4 hours one way, covering around 290 km, and is considered one of the most scenic routes in the country. As you travel through Fiordland National Park, you’ll pass dramatic alpine landscapes, mirror-like lakes, and lush rainforests. Along the way, you can stop at beautiful viewpoints such as Mirror Lakes, Homer Tunnel, and the scenic Eglinton Valley to stretch your legs and take photographs.
Upon reaching Milford Sound, board a scenic cruise that takes you deep into the fjord, surrounded by towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and dramatic peaks. Begin the journey along the shores of Lake Wanaka, where the calm blue waters and mountain backdrop make for excellent photo opportunities. Continue towards the Mrs Jones Orchard, a popular local stop where you can stretch your legs and enjoy fresh fruits, juices, or light refreshments (subject to season).

The drive then leads you into the heart of the Southern Alps as you approach Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, home to New Zealand’s highest peak. Weather permitting, enjoy views of snow-capped mountains and glaciers, with time for short scenic stops and photographs. Continue onward to the stunning turquoise waters of Lake Pukaki, famous for its unreal color and panoramic views of Mount Cook on clear days. By late afternoon, arrive at Lake Tekapo and check in to your hotel.   • 5% TCS Up To INR 10 Lakhs Thereafter 20% TCS.
  • (INR 7 Lakh Exemption Threshold Limit Qua The Remitter – Declaration Has To Be Submitted By The Consumer Of International Tour Package To Shree Swaminarayan Tourism. 
  • If You Cancel Your Trip The Amount Of TCS Paid Is Non-Refundable.
  • As Per Section 206CCA Of Income Tax Act 1961, In Case You Have Not Filed Your Income Tax Returns For Two Preceding Years; And The Aggregate TDS And TCS Of Each Tax Year Is INR 50,000 Or More – On Validating The PAN If It Is Found That You Have Not Filed Your Income Tax Returns For Two Preceding Years And Aggregate TCS And TCS Exceeds INR 50,000, An Additional TCS @ 5/20% (As The Case May Be) Will Be Recovered From You Or Booking Will Get Cancelled And Cancellation Charges Will Apply.

  • Overseas Tour Package’ Means Any Tour Package Which Offers A Visit To A Country Or Countries Or Territory Or Territories Outside India And Includes Expenses For Travel Or Hotel Stay Or Boarding Or Lodging Or Any Other Expenditure Of Similar Nature Or In Relation Thereto.
  • Specified Person’ Means A Person Defined As Per Provisions Of Section 206CCA Of Income Tax Act, 1961.
  • The User Is Liable To Pay Tax Collected At Source (TCS) On Booking Of An ‘Overseas Tour Package’ At An Appropriate Rate Over And Above The Price Charged For Such Package In Compliance With The Provisions Of Section 206C (1G)(B) Of The Income Tax Act, 1961. Shree Swaminarayan Tourism Will Deposit The TCS Amount So Collected With The Government And Issue Appropriate Document/Certificate To The User In Compliance With Aforesaid Provision.
  • The User Is Required To Provide A Valid PAN Of User/ Traveller(S) At The Time Of Booking An Overseas Tour Package With Shree Swaminarayan Tourism. The User Understands And Agrees That Shree Swaminarayan Tourism, At The Time Of Booking Or At A Later Stage, Will Validate The PAN Provided By The User To Check Compliance Of Provisions Of Section 206CC Of Income Tax Act. The User Agrees That In Case The PAN Is Found To Be Invalid, Or It Does Not Belong To User/ Traveller(S), Shree Swaminarayan Tourism Has An Obligation To Cancel The Booking In Compliance With The Law And Process The Refund As Per The Cancellation Policy Applicable To Said Booking.
  • The User Further Understand And Agrees That Shree Swaminarayan Tourism Would Also, At The Time Of Booking Or At A Later Stage, Validate User/ Traveller(S) PAN As Per The Provisions Of Section 206CCA Of Income Tax Act And If On Validation The User Qualifies As A ‘Specified Person’, The User Agrees To Pay TCS To Shree Swaminarayan Tourism At Such Higher Rate As May Be Applicable Under Section 206CCA. The User Agrees To Pay The Additional TCS Amount To MMT Where, As A Result Of Validation Under Section 206CCA, The TCS Collected At The Time Of Booking Falls Short Of The Applicable Rate Of TCS.
