Sakhigopal Temple, is dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha. It is famous for its life-sized deity of Krishna holding a flute and the unique legend of divine witness. Khandagiri and Udayagiri Caves, are ancient rock-cut caves dating back to the 2nd century BCE. Built during King Kharavela’s reign, they served as Jain monk dwellings. The caves feature intricate carvings, inscriptions, and sculptures, reflecting early Jain art and architecture, making them significant historical and archaeological sites.

Morning After breakfast check-out from the hotel & visit city of temple by covering Parshurameshwar, Mukteshwar, Rajarani & Lingaraj (Only Hindus are allowed to enter inside the temple premises). Then departure transfer to the Airport to board the flight for onwards connections.

Constructed from distinctive red and yellow sandstone known as ‘Rajarani’, the temple features a curvilinear spire (vimana) rising to approximately 18 meters and a pyramidal-roofed jagamohana (assembly hall). Notably, the temple lacks a presiding deity, but architectural elements suggest a Shaivite affiliation. Its exterior walls are adorned with intricate carvings of divine figures, couples, and scenes from mythology, leading to its local moniker as the ‘love temple’.
