day-icon Day 1 : Bangalore - Mysore - (144 Kms, 3 Hrs 15 Minutes)

Arrive at Bangalore Airport, meet the assistance and proceed to MysoreMysore: Mysore is in Karnataka, India and was the capital city from 1399 – 1956 under the Kingdom of Mysore. This makes it a sort of royal city in India and its architecture and culture is one of the nicest in the country. Mysore is also considered to be one of Kartnataka’s cultural cities, and most commonly known as haven for yoga.Enroute visit Tipu Sultan’s summer palace, Srirangapatna: The Daria Daulat Bagh refers to Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace which contains Tipu Sultan’s Museum on its ground floor and seems like something out of a spectacular Bollywood movie. Tipu Sultan’s Museum is a fantastic example of Indo-Islamic architecture and it’s like the Summer Palace in Bangalore, one of the best things to see in the city, because it’s also built entirely in teak wood.Timings: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm on all the weekdays, on Sundays 08:30 am – 5:30 pmEntry fees: INR 15 per person for Indian Nationals, INR 200 for Foreign Nationals. On arrival check in to hotel.  After fresh ‘n’ up proceed to visit Brindavan garden. Brindavan Gardens: The gardens are located 12 km west of Mysore city right at the foot of Krishnarajasagara Dam on the Cauvery River.These terrace gardens were completed back in 1932 and cover over 60 acres of land. The gardens are well maintained. The grass always looks trimmed and freshly mowed. The flower beds are well taken care of. The topiaries are in perfect shapes and the gazebos look inviting.Try to visit the gardens by the end of the day and catch the musical fountain.Dinner & Overnight Stay at Mysore.

Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and visit Mysore palace and later drive to Wayanad. Mysore Palace – Known for as a stunning example of Indo-Sarcenic Revival architecture, the palace has changed hands a few times over the years since it was originally built in the 14th-century. It is now home to the royal family of Mysore, the Wodeyars.On arrival in Wayanad visit Banasura Sagar Dam: This is the largest earth dam in India and the second largest in Asia. The topography here is such many islands are going to be formed in the upstream of the dam when the dam is full. These islands with the background of the Banasura hill will provide a hypnotizing sight to tourists.Very beautiful surroundings and view points and Adventure activities like zip lining, zorbing, speed boat, coracle ride(at additional cost) can be done at Banasurasagar dam. (9 am to 5 pm)• Pookode Lake: Pookode Lake is the most beautiful freshwater lake. This lake resembles the shape of India’s map founded by geographical experts.• Lakkidi View Point: Lakkidi is a quaint hamlet in Wayanad covered in green. The Lakkidi viewpoint is at a hairpin bent along the road in the hills. The captivating views will make you fall in love with Wayanad.  This place is surrounded by green trees on all sides. Later check into the hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Wayanand.

Today Morning after breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing covering either Meenmutty waterfalls or Banasurasagar dam (if not visited on earlier day) or Edakkal caves and Soochipara waterfalls. (Any 2 set of sightseeing’s can be done because of distant locations)• Meenmutty Falls – Meenmutty Waterfalls is a three-tiered waterfall which will take your breath away. A scenic trek through the lush green forest with thundering visuals of the scenery, Meenmutty Waterfalls is hailed as one of the foremost thrilling places for adventure lovers in Wayanad.• Edakkal Caves – Edakkal caves are famous for its pictorial paintings (cave paintings), which are considered to be of 6000 B C. It is the only known place in India with Stone Age carvings.• Soochipara Waterfall – Soochipara Waterfalls is one of the best waterfalls in Wayanad. Soochipara falls are the needle-shaped three-tiered falls that plunge from the Vellarimala hills in Wayanad. It is also referred to as the Sentical Rock Falls. Surrounded by forests of deciduous trees this is the foremost beautiful waterfall in Wayanad. And it’s a perennial waterfall.Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Try to visit in the morning when you can see the many birds that live here.  Iskcon Temple : The temple’s architecture is amazing including a gold-plated flag post, stone carvings, fountains, waterfalls, arches, flowering gardens, and a huge amphitheatre.   • Cancellation before 30 days of start date will be charged processing fee equivalent to 10% per person
  • Cancellations between 20 days to 30 days before start date, 25% of tour cost would be charged as retention
  • Cancellations between 20 days to 15 days before start date, 50% of tour cost would be charged as retention
  • Cancellations made within 15 days of start date; entire tour cost shall be charged as retention
