Guests Departing from Mumbai (Scheduled Group Departure)
Guests who have opted for the Mumbai to Mumbai tour will meet at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, four hours before the scheduled flight departure time.
From here, you fly together with Shree Swaminarayan Tourism tour manager to Tromso – a major cultural hub above the Arctic Circle where nature and culture go hand in hand and begin your beautiful journey. Upon arrival, the Shree Swaminarayan Tourism Tour Manager will assist you with all airport formalities and ensure a smooth transition to the hotel or sightseeing place as per the itinerary.
Guests Joining from Other Indian Cities
If you are flying from cities like New Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru or others, please ensure that you have received your complete travel details like airline, flight departure and arrival time, airport name, passport with valid visa etc. from your Shree Swaminarayan Tourism Travel Advisor. You will fly to the first destination of the tour as per your individual flight details. Upon arrival your tour manager will meet you at Tromso airport or at the sightseeing place conveyed to you in advance.
Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests – From India or Anywhere in the World
If you are joining the tour from any part of India or overseas by making your own arrangements, please ensure that you have received complete guidance for smooth arrival, hotel check-in or joining at sightseeing place, from your Shree Swaminarayan Tourism Tour Manager as well as travel adviser. Tour Manager will meet you directly at the first destination as per the tour plan conveyed to you.
Important Notes:
For Joining & Leaving guests the flight tickets, visa, insurance and airport transfers are to be borne by guests. Please ensure all these arrangements are as per the scheduled group tour. To avail of the group airport transfers, we request you to ensure your flight arrival is at the scheduled group airport and is minimum one hour before the group’s scheduled flight arrival time. For last day your flight departure time should be after the scheduled group flight departure time to avail the airport transfers.
Note:
• Standard hotel check-in time is 3:00 PM (15:00 hrs) or later. If our flights are reaching in the morning, we cover one of the sightseeing’s to fill up the gap.
• We recommend you to take care of your travel documents, valuables, foreign exchange, and emergency contacts handy during your journey.
Note: As per the Schengen visa rule, we need to process your Schengen visa from the consulate of the country we’ll be entering first on our Europe tour or staying in for the maximum number of days. ‘Joining & Leaving’ guests will also have to get their visas processed from the consulate of the same country; otherwise, boarding might be denied by the airline, or even entry into that country can be banned.
Today we explore city of Tromso, we visit Polaria – an Arctic aquarium to see the interesting knowledge-based exhibits, a panoramic cinema and feeding of the seals. Followed by visit to Tromso University Museum – the oldest scientific institution in Northern-Norway, and the Polar Museum – known as Gateway to the Arctic here we discover exciting stories of risky arctic trapping and sea mammal hunting as well as courageous Polar explorers.
Today we enjoy a scenic drive to Alta – a town on Norway’s northern coast, at the head of Alta Fjord.
Upon arrival we visit Northern Lights Cathedral – the city’s architectural landmark.
Further we visit Ice Bar at Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel – a magical fairy tale adventure with the wondrous surroundings of snow and ice, Magic Ice presents a truly magical experience.
Today we proceed to Honningsvag – Norway’s northern most city. Upon arrival we walk around the harbour. Further we visit “North Cape” – a 920 feet high steep cliff referred as the northernmost point of Europe. Tonight, we enjoy a guided tour to experience the Midnight sun.
Today we proceed to Karasjok – a fascinating and exotic forested town of Norway.
Upon arrival, we take a photo stop near Sami Parliament of Norway – an advisory body of the Norwegian government on Sami affairs.
Today we proceed to Rovaniemi – an urban oasis amidst the Arctic wilderness, where culture, wild activities and fairy tales come together. Upon arrival, we visit the Arktikum Museum – the regional museum of Lapland, which collects and preserves cultural, historical, and natural scientific materials.
It allows us to experience the northern nature, culture, and history up close.
Today we explore Rovaniemi city, we pass by Lappia House, Library and Town Hall – the most famous of architect Alvar Aalto’s works in Lapland. City Library of Rovaniemi was the first building to be completed, in 1966, followed by the Lappia House, functioning as a theatre and congress hall, in 1975 and the Town Hall, finished after Aalto’s death, in 1988. Together, these three buildings form a composition enclosing a spacious plaza, highlighting the individuality and purpose of each building.
Further we see Arctic Center – Finland’s national institute for Arctic expertise. Later we cross the Arctic Circle (66°31’N) to enter incomparable unspoiled Lapland and visit the Santa Claus Village with a chance to meet Father Christmas himself. Followed by visit to Husky and Reindeer farm.
Tonight, we enjoy a guided experience of Arctic floating under the midnight Sun – experience the ethereal beauty of Lapland’s endless summer as you float serenely under the captivating Midnight Sun.
Today we fly to Helsinki – the capital city of Finland well known for its innovative art, culture and architecture and begin your beautiful journey. Upon arrival, we enjoy Helsinki City, during the city orientation tour we pass by Modern Finlandia Hall – a dynamic, multipurpose venue located in the centre of Helsinki, City Hall – a central administrative building of Helsinki, Parliament House – the official location of the governing body of Finland, Presidential Palace – the official residence of the President, although today it is used primarily for presidential functions and receptions, the Monumental railroad station – one of the most visited site in the city, Lutheran Cathedral – the symbol of Helsinki. The church was originally built from 1830-1852 as a tribute to the Grand Duke of Finland, Olympic Stadium – built in 1938. Olympic Games were held here in 1952. Today it hosts both national and international sporting events and outdoor concerts, Sibelius monument – dedicated to the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius, Market Square – the most famous market in Finland, it has been a centre of trade for hundreds of years.
Today we fly to Reykjavik – located on the coast of Iceland, is the capital and largest city of Iceland. Tonight, we have a chance to witness the spectacular Midnight Sun.
Today we take the Golden Circle Tour. Here we visit Thingvellir National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the rift valley between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates and the site of the ancient Icelandic parliament. Later we visit Geysir – home to the Littli Geysir & the great Strokkur Geyser which erupts about every 8 Minutes, Gullfoss Waterfall – one of the most impressive waterfalls in Europe that falls in two folds.
Later we proceed back to Reykjavik. Upon arrival we visit Fridheimar Tomato Farm – where Tomatoes are grown in green house using the Geo-Thermal Heat from the ground.
Today we proceed towards South Iceland and visit the first location of Gerua fame waterfall Seljalandsfoss – here we enjoy a walking trail behind the waterfall. After this, we will visit Skogafoss – where on a bright sunny day at least 2 rainbows are visible at a time.
Later we proceed towards Reynisfjara – BLACK SAND BEACH one of its only kind in the world, where we see the Rock apostles in the ocean & also Basalt Rock columns and cave formation at the beach.
Then we visit the Solheimasandur – Plane wreck location- It is one of the well-known locations from the Gerua song.
Today we visit two of the most beautiful places in Iceland, Skaftafell National Park and Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. We start our day with Skaftafell National Park – which is a magnificent area. The birch forest is like an oasis surrounded by the enormous tongues of the Vatnajökull glacier and the sands of Skeiðarárasandur. Then we continue east to reach the glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón, one of the most spectacular sights in Iceland. Enormous icebergs constantly break off the glacier into the lagoon, melting slowly as they drift towards the sea nearby. Here we will take photo-stop and walk around the lagoon to enjoy this amazing landscape.
[Note: May to November we enjoy an Amphibian Boat Ride at this Lagoon (Subject to weather condition).] Opposite to the lagoon we visit Diamond Beach – a black volcanic sand beach where icebergs from the Breidamerkurjokull glacier drift ashore.
Today we proceed to Reykjavik. Upon arrival we visit we visit Blue Lagoon – a geothermal spa and is set in the middle of the black lava field. Later we explore Reykjavik city, we pass by Sun Voyager – a dreamboat, an ode to the sun. It symbolizes the promise of undiscovered territory, a dream of hope, progress and freedom, Harpa concert hall – an award-winning building situated at the old harbour, City Hall – houses the offices of the mayor of Reykjavík and a large 3D map of Iceland, Parliament House – a classical 19th century structure which houses the Icelandic parliament, Hallgrimskirkja Church – both a parish church and a national sanctuary in Iceland. It is the largest church in Iceland.

Guests traveling on the scheduled group flight will proceed to the airport as per the group’s departure time.
Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests:
J&L guests will proceed to the airport after the scheduled group tour concludes.
If your flight timing and airport match the group’s, you may join the group airport transfer. Otherwise, the cost of reaching the airport, cruise terminal, railway station, or bus terminal will be borne by the guest.
